We make use of third-party sub-processors to provide you with our products and services.

We employ the use of vendors and third party service providers to make our products and services available to you. We use a different set of vendors to provide our SummitFold

  1. Conference management app, and
  2. This website

For further inquiries about our use of sub-processors, please contact us. We will update this list as needed. For material changes we will take appropriate measure to contact you, consistent with the severity of the planned changes. If you have suggestions for alternative providers, that may provide a similar level of quality with a higher focus on privacy, you’re most welcome to contact us with suggestions.

As you will note in the lists below, we employ multiple sub-processors for some service categories such as email delivery or object storage of files. This reflects our trade-off between ensuring the information you entrust us is kept in as few hands as possible vs. ensuring the safety, integrity, and availability of this data in the face of outages or errors. All data sub-processors undergo the same level of scrutiny to determine if they have the appropriate level of safeguards for the data we store with them.

Sub-processors for the app

The following providers handle data for visitors and users interacting with our conference management app. This covers both direct logins in the system for users with actual accounts, and website visitors to public or private conference websites generated by the app. They may receive and store your IP address, name, email, and user ID identifiers when you interact with our services. Our providers assist us in fulfilling your requests to our systems.

  • Amazon Web Services — Hosting of assets for our apps such as HTML, JavaScript, images, and CSS. DNS provider for production services, provider of in- and outbound email services, IT infrastructure, object storage, servers, and database services.
  • Netlify — Hosting of assets for our apps such as HTML, JavaScript, images, and CSS.
  • BackBlaze — ‘Object storage’ of public and private user files, images, and attachments.
  • Scaleway — ‘Object storage’ of public and private user files, images, and attachments.
  • BunnyCDN — CDN (content delivery network) hosting of files and static web assets such as HTML, JavaScript, images, fonts, and CSS.
  • Postmark — Provider of in- and outbound email services.
  • GitLab — Hosting of programming source code repositories, and handling of deployment pipelines for updating our products.
  • DigitalOcean — Hosting of backend servers.
  • Hetzner — Hosting of backend servers.
  • Sentry — Error logging service that assists us in identifying errors in our systems, as well as identify potential security issues. In case of errors they store your used browser, operation system, and similar technical information to help us remedy issues with the system. This information is stored in addition to IP address, name, and email mentioned previously.
  • Stripe — Payment and invoice services. Used when users pay to attend your event, pay for add-on services, social events, print materials etc.

Sub-processors for the website

This covers all visitors—both with and without SummitFold user accounts—to our promotional website.

  • Netlify — Hosting of HTML, JavaScript, images, and CSS assets for our website.
  • BackBlaze — ‘Object storage’ of public and private user files, images, and attachments.
  • Scaleway — ‘Object storage’ of public and private user files, images, and attachments.
  • BunnyCDN — CDN hosting of static web assets, such as HTML, JavaScript, images, fonts, and CSS.
  • Mailgun — Provider of in- and outbound email services.
  • Postmark — Provider of in- and outbound email services.
  • GitLab — Hosting of programming source code repositories, and handling of deployment pipelines for updating our websites.

General sub-processors

This covers sub-processors that assist us with the general day-to-day work of the company.

  • Billy.dk — Accounting services, and contract/customer details.
  • Asana — Provider of a task management tool that we use to collaborate on tasks, handle customer contacts, relations, and contracts.
